Spending this beautiful Australian summer shooting in beautiful places and building my photography business. 2015 is going to be a HUGE year and I hope I can keep posting here as well.

I've missed blogging so bad. Things have been a bit hectic the past couple of weeks… hence no blog posts. But I will hopefully be blogging more over the next few weeks. 

I have been really focusing on expanding my style of photography lately too more lingerie & fitness photography. Ever since I joined the gym, I've really started to appreciate the human body and have been loving my new style! Extension tube EF25 II

Wow, long time no blog! Sorry I've been kind of.. lazy lately. I've been super busy with partying and working and slooowwwllyy but surely starting my photography business! but I will be updating more now that I have more free time!

About two weeks ago I bought this Extension tube EF25 II and it finally arrived today! I am so excited because now I can post-pone buying a macro lens! This will be perfect for the wedding I have coming up in June and my trip to England! (Oh yeah, I forgot to blog.. but I am going to England from the 14th of June until the 12th of July and I am so freaking overly excited for it! I finally get to see all my family again after my last holiday back there 6 years ago!) I will be taking thousands of photos and shopping until my heart stops! I wish Australia had amazing shops like the UK and US! Anyway, yeah. I cant wait to have a play around with it and see how the photos turn out! I've already done a test run with it and the first photo was taken with my 50mm 1.8 without the extension tube, and then the below two photos were taken with the extension tube attached. I couldnt get any closer without it and I must say.. it was definitely worth the money!! I am very happy with it (:

Anyway, I shall blog again in a day or two.

CANON 5D MARK II

Today was so unexpected. SO unexpected. I didn't know when I woke up this morning that I would be buying the Canon 5D Mark ii. It was a last minute thing because the shop I was going to buy it from has decided to completely stop stocking the Canon 5D Mark ii, and I was devastated! I called up and they said they only have one left (the display one) and I ran to the store and bought it. I know, there are heaps of other places to buy them from but I wanted it from this specific store. It was completely last minute and I do not regret a thing. I honestly wasn't expecting to buy it for another month or two because of finance's, but here I am.. holding this amazing piece of technology.

This time last year I bought my Canon 550D, well 5 days ago - this time last year haha.

The famous Canon 5D Mark II

"When you go full-frame, you never go back."

- a wise Asian man I spoke to while holding this amazing piece of technology.He's right though, I know I will never want to use a cropped camera again after I have this in my hands. I went in and tried my two lens (50mm 1.8, 85mm 1.8) on it to see if they were compatible and they worked just as well as they did on my Canon 550D! I need to have this camera for this wedding I've been asked to shoot.

update

I have been really enjoying the past couple of months. I have been concentrating hard on photography and I have done so many shoots! You can see some previews on my Flickr, but I still haven't finished editing them all. But once I have finished I will post them all on here or my Photography blog! If you want to keep updated with my photography then follow my photography blog because I upload more photos from the shoots on there than I do on this one.

My New Years Resolution is to do a photo shoot every week. Or at least every other week. I've seen how much I've improved this year and I want a even bigger result at the end of next year. I have done a few commissed shoots and I really enjoyed them! It is so much fun to meet new people and know that they like my work enough for me to photograph them.

I'll also be doing an online Photography Course to help me get into the business and it'll teach me everything from lighting, to how to handle clients, so basically everything and I am so excited about that!

Anyway, I'll be updating this more now. Work has just been crazy and I have been taking advantage of any free time to get some Zzzz's! Work and photography is getting a little stressfull but I love it too much to complain. Photography is my life now and I want to do it for the rest of my life.

i'm glad you came

I've been looking a lot at old camera's and I really want to buy a Hassalblad but I cant find one anywhere. I nearly bought one of Etsy a few months ago but somebody bought it before I even had a chance ): so now I've got my eye on this Canon AE-1. My dad already has a Minolta in mint condition with 3 lens and over 20 filters and a fish eye and everything else in the world for it, which he kindly let me use (well, he didn't really even have a choice because I had already bought film and started using it) but I am so scared of using it in case I drop it and I just want one I can use without having to worry about it getting scratched.. but it's also a waste of money considering I have a perfectly good one here. Blehh, I hate it when I cant decided.

If heartache was a physical pain, I could face it

Hey guys, so today I just went out and took some photos during sunset. I am so glad that winter is moving on because it'd be pitch black at 6pm but it is slowly staying lighter so I can go out after work and take photos. But anyway, I get my Battery Pack yesterday and I love it (: I'll post a photo below.. now that I have it I dont/wont have to worry about it dying when I'm getting into a photo shoot or when I'm just taking random photos at a party (: I love it.
